Founded in 1999, the Education Foundation of Chinese Professionals Association of Canada (CPAC) provides scholarships and awards to secondary and post-secondary students who have demonstrated exceptional community leadership as well as outstanding academic achievements. The Foundation also provides assistance to students who have maintained above-average grades and are experiencing financial difficulty.
Over the years, the Foundation has been very active in expanding its educational commitments with a number of initiatives. From the annual Children Drawing Contest for the junior age group to the large scale conference-style Education Day for the eager students and caring parents; and from a simple education hotline to recognition for professional achievements, we care for all ages. In 2008, the Foundation raised $200,000 for a school-rebuilding project for the unfortunate victims of the Sichuan earthquake disaster. The efforts of the Foundation are reaching out to lands far beyond the boundaries on our map.
Education Foundation of CPAC is grateful to the generosity of all donors from both the individual and the corporate sectors. The Foundation's funds are managed by its Finance Committee under the direction of the Board of Trustees, which consists of members from both within CPAC and in the community. |

Q&A regarding Application for CPAC's Awards & Scholarship
| CPAC Professional Achievement Awards in 2011 |
Starting from 2009, CPAC added a new category, the CPAC Professional Achievement Award, which acknowledge immigrants with professional background who: |
- achieved outstanding status in their profession in Canada , or
- were able to obtain employment or professional license through CPAC's services (including bridging programs), excel in their professions and could share their success stories , or
- achieved successful accomplishments in a different profession than what they were trained for.
| CPAC Professional Achievement Awards are presented to the new immigrants who successfully transit into a new career in Canada and even be very successful professionals in their own fields. We try to recognize the challenges they have encountered and the achievement they have gained. We hope they can be the real models for the community to encourage more people by sharing their experience and success stories with others who are still struggling in their life.
